APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Gr 12
• Bookkeeping / Accounting Diploma
• Minimum 3 years work experience gained within a financial role
• Agricultural industry exposure will be highly advantageous
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans & English
• Drivers license + own reliable transport
• Clear ITC / Criminal Record

KPA’S

1. Financial processing and analysis of financial data.
• Issuing of orders according to procedures
• Capturing of invoices
• Loading of payments
• Open item recons

2. Weekly/monthly recons between farming division and HQ
• Accuracy
• Reasons for differences that occurs
• Recons on Biologicals Assets Account
• Recons of supplier account on month end
• Recon of orders with invoices received

3. Diesel rebate claims
• Summary of diesel usage for the month
• Compiling of diesel claim to SARS
• Reconciling of claims submitted vs claims received

4. Month-end processing & reporting
• Confirmation of overhead split per commodity
• Monthly cash flow projections for treasury
• Journal upload of all outstanding invoices
• Farming biological reconciliation per commodity
• Inventory adjustment to biological assets account to match stock count quantity & values

5. Trade 1 capturing
• Confirm loads delivered to silos with the Coop & FM log sheets
• Load deliveries on to Trade1
• Recon of weekly deliveries between Coop, Trade1 and FM Log sheets
• Recon between loads delivered and invoices to R50 on trade1

6. Admin Support
• Assist in drafting and maintaining weekly reports. eg Harvesting progress report, Delivery reports, diesel usage
• Coordination of contracts, eg transport, harvesting, spraying
• Maintaining and filing of all Lease and contractor agreements
• Admin with regards to FM leave.
• New counter party to be loaded on system
• Maintaining counter party info and filing all FICA documentation according to procedure
