JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: Managing and directing financial reporting and accounting systems functions. Additionally, managing and performing specific close-related activities.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Prepare and provide the consolidated results to the Group.
• Provide support with the preparation of the Group published results.
• Provide support in the reporting structure optimisation.
• Maintain the Group consolidation accounting system.
• Prepare and provide the monthly flash report.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BCom - Accounting : Honours / CTA
• A relevant 3 year Finance / Business related qualification.

EXPERIENCE:
• 3 years’ related work experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Attention to detail, analytical ability and a high level of proficiency in MS-Excel are required.
• The incumbent must be pro-active in identifying potential problems and creating solutions.
• Have the capacity for understanding and using financial, marketplace, consumer and economic information.
• Good knowledge of Financial systems environment and understanding of the interaction between different modules and functional areas
• Has a well-developed knowledge of business operations
• Ability to influence operational and functional personnel to achieve cost reduction and realize cost and efficiency savings
• Ability to identify key drivers and opportunities to improve business performance
