Key PERFORMANCE AREAS: 

  • Assume responsibility over the consolidation process of the monthly, quarterly and annual Hake results
  • Overall responsibility for the monthly management pack
  • Continual development, implementation and review of monthly and year to date dashboards
  • Continual development, implementation and review of monthly, year to date, forecast and budget variance analysis reports
  • Preparing and presentation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Consolidation and review of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Complete quarterly Reserve Bank and Statistics SA
  • Preparation and consolidation of the year end reporting pack and supporting schedules
  • Provide input and technical IFRS support to the Hake division
  • Preparation of companies annual financial statements
  • Responsible for completion of monthly taxation calculations
  • Responsible for completion of annual and provisional tax calculations and returns
  • Effective staff management and development
  • Liaise with both internal and external auditors
  • Responsible for cash flow reporting and the management thereof for the division
  • Responsible for the BBBEE reporting for each of the rights holding companies
  • Responsible for the sustainability reporting for the division
  • Involved with the SAP implementation for the division
  • Compilation of ad hoc reports as required from time to time
  • Management meetings administration

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

The following skills are essential and the successful candidate must have a proven track record with regards to the skills listed below:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Excel to advanced levels)
  • Possess leadership attributes and a strong personality
  • Experience working on an ERP system (SAP or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accurate and analytical with the ability to work under pressure
  • Planning skills and a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
