Our client, an internationally acclaimed financial services company, is searching for an entrepreneurial and energetic Financial Controller. Reporting directly into the international Financial Director, the successful incumbent would be based in London and travel throughout Europe and globally as required.

The Group currently operates over 1000 global outlets and is an aggressive bidder for concessions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Financial Director and finance team based in London
• Oversee the day to day activities of the finance team and ensure that the function is organized and efficient
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
• Global cash management and treasury duties (maximize the control and tracking thereof), ensure cash availability
• Manage the cost base of the group
• Preparation of Group Consolidated Accounts; monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet; timely production of statutory and internal financial reports
• Financial modeling and analysis
• Ensuring appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
• Projects as and when required

Requirements:
• Fully qualified accountant (equivalent of UK ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
• Experience of group consolidated accounts
• Strong financial control and reconciliation ability
• Audit exposure (internal and/or external)
• +3 years post articles work experience or +5 years commercial work experience in an accounting position
• Above average systems proficiency
• Bright, intuitive, resilient and energetic with a “can do” attitude, able to fit into an entrepreneurial corporate culture
• Self starter who wants to work outside of the traditional banking / finance environment
• Lifestyle that enables extensive travel as required
