PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide specialist consulting and training for the Financial Controls and Processes service department.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Build and maintain effective customer relationships
• Effective communication with customers (internal and/or external)
• Attend Members meetings
• Check standards to identify adherence or deviations,
• Ensure stores implement and comply with minimum standards as per audit report
• Follow through until issues resolved and escalate as soon as appropriate to do so.
• Formulate and agree with manager and retailer on corrective actions.
• Identify problems area in the store and address
• Consultation / advice to retailers
• Identify problems and recommend corrective actions
• Resolve retailers query
• Schedule visits to retailers identified for visits
• Assist with stock takes
• Advise on store systems and train retail staff on application of systems
• Comply with legislation and policies.
• Ensure correct products are used
• Train on stock takes and costing
• Deliver specialist training
• Address unproductive unprofitable practices and issues.
• Audit waste control, production standards and processes and formulate action
• Assess retailer performance and profitability
• Complete and distribute audit reports
Identify opportunities for improvement
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
• Grade 12
• Certificate – Bookkeeping (advantageous)
• 3 years: Retail administration (Required)
• Presentation Skills
• Management Induction Program
• Business Consulting Skills
• ROCS
• A valid Driver’s License
• Financial and business understanding
• Good knowledge of store operations
• Able to work independently
