Introduction
This Candidate will have to oversee the financial management of the LISP and Administration component of our client’s Individual Client Administration Pty Ltd; Retail Client Administration Pty Ltd and Nominees Pty Ltd, within the Operations and Administration division and to provide support to the Financial Manager of the Operations and Administration division, as well as key stakeholders of the business unit.

Key Performance Area's

1. Monthly reporting processes:
• Co-ordination of all revenue including Fee income and Platform Fee invoicing on a monthly basis
• Developing and maintaining a revenue and expense projection model for up to date variance analysis
• Preparing monthly financial analysis and reports (including attribution) of product and investment flows, assets under management and revenue
• Accurate & timeous preparation of monthly reconciliations, including but not limited to: Fee income, Bank and Balance Sheet reconciliations. All reconciling items should be dealt with appropriately.
2. Statutory Reporting
• Completion of quarterly and annual financial packs in adherence to Group deadlines
• Completion of annual tax pack in adherence to Group deadlines
3. Budget and Forecasting Process
• Understand and co-ordinate the budgeting and forecasting process for the applicable business units within the AFICA pillar
• Understand the key drivers of the business and interrogate the numbers from the business units
4. Headcount
• Accurate preparation of monthly headcount reconciliations, for Operations and Admin as a whole, within specified timeframes, including variance analysis and commentary thereon.
5. Operational Role
• Designing, maintaining and implementing controls over relevant financial processes in the operational environment
6. Projects
• Identify innovative processes, methodologies and systems for reporting and operations
