Position Summary:
You will be required to support the company on the financial management of the business, which includes planning, reporting, financial analysis, transactional processing, and procurement support. This position requires a leader, someone who can take the lead of the finance team, provide direction and achieve results. Work closely with the Regional Managers to drive the business forward and help create a strategy for significant growth and expansion. Drive and improve systems, processes and create an efficient department within the cluster.

Essential Functions:
• Be a business partner working closely with the Managing Director and General Managers
• Participate in the development and execution of the long term strategic vision of the Business.
• Create and lead the financial strategy for the business to achieve its strategy and growth objectives.
• Responsible for financial management, reporting, financial audit, tax filing and planning, forecast and budgeting, cash flow forecast, capital investment, analysis and evaluate business performance.
• Responsible for all weekly and monthly approved payments.
• Oversee and monitor all financial operations and Accounting activities.
• Monitoring and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Manage relations with banks, financial institutions and US Head Office in relation to funding, transactional platforms and compliance.
• Communicate with internal and external auditors, tax advisor and bankers.
• Review and implement financial control policies and procedures and be responsible for improvements to strengthen operational efficiency.
• Manage and develop the finance team.
• Be up to date with recent policies and legislation and ensure compliance

Minimum Requirements:
• Finance related formal qualification: CA (SA), CIIMA, etc.
• 5-6 years working experience
• Excellent understanding of IFRS
• Good understanding of South African tax law
• Strong working knowledge of SAP or Xero (Advantageous)
• Security industry knowledge/background (advantageous)
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, someone who can gain credibility at all levels of an organization
• Detail oriented, good project management and organization skills, analytical, logical skills and sound business acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans
• Willing to work under pressure, result-oriented and meet tight deadlines
