Financial Controller - Financial Services Industry

EE candidate with a financial qualification (Degree), completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA) and minimum 2-3 years’ experience within the financial services industry, required to perform the full accounting function up to trial balance.

Minimum requirements:
• Financial qualification (Degree) essential
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles essential
• Minimum 2-3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the financial services industry, required
• Strong Excel and Accpac experience required

Responsibilities:
• Full accounting function to Trial Balance
• Prepare and allocate commission payments
• Review Adviser Commission statements
• Ensure all control accounts, balance sheets and income statements are reconciled on monthly basis
• Dealing with Adviser queries
• Assist with preparation of monthly management reports and analysis of accounts
• Prepare audit working papers and assist with auditing queries
• Execution and approval of payments
