A winery in the heart of the Boland has a vacancy for a Financial Controller.

Job Description:

* Processing of credit applications.
* Processing of debtors invoices.
* Matching debtors invoices and payments, collecting outstanding payments.
* Reconciling debtors accounts.
* Preparing monthly age analysis.
* Monthly sales reporting.
* Matching SAWIS documentation to purchases and sales.
* Matching purchases with sales.
* Maintenance of debtors contract schedules.
* Costing and recipe calculations.
* Reconciliation cash receipts through cellar door.
* Budget tracking.
* Stock control.
* Stock reconciliations.
* Take weekly and month-end inventory of stock in storeroom.

Requirements:

* Grade 12 certificate.
* Financial Management / Accounting-related tertiary qualification at NQF6 or above.
* Articles would be an advantage.
* Three years’ working experience in a financial accounting-related role.
* Advanced MS Excel and Pastel (or similar accounting package).
* Own transport to company premises in Agter-Paarl.
* Knowledge of financial accounting principles.
* Strong Financial reconciliation abilities.
* Proficient in MS Excel.
* Detail- and quality-oriented.
* Good verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
