• Key Duties & Responsibilities Daily checking of computer report with specific analysis of outlet revenues/ telephone revenues and the guest and city ledger
• Ensuring that the revenue report is distributed to management every morning
• Controlling cash at the bank and ensuring that banking is done daily
• Controlling of purchases requirements against budget on a daily basis
• Ensuring weekly figures to Regional Office every week
• Ensuring all schedules ready on time for presentation to the General Manager, Regional Office
• Preparation and updating of the yearly budget on a regular basis
• Compilation of the monthly general managers executive committee reports
• Collecting information from executive management and reporting on a monthly basis
• Preparing, controlling and maintaining quarterly stock take of operating equipment
• Ensure each subordinate receives whatever training is necessary for job competence
• Ensure that staff under your control are disciplined (when and if required) in accordance with prevailing legislation
Attendance of monthly meetings and financial revenue meetings
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Diploma or equivalent in related field
Related experience at a middle to senior management level.
Computer Literacy in MS Office and Fidelio is essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Willingness to work within a busy 24 hour operation
Cost Control

N.B. The position requires Financial management experience and not Accountant/ Accountancy experience.
The position requires the individual to interpret the financials together with working knowledge of inventory/ stock management – this includes food, beverage and operating equipment.
Their experience may not necessarily be limited to F&B but they must be in a position to expand themselves within this context with experience in related stock management.
