Our client, a successful investment company is looking for a Financial manager who will be responsible for management accounting, budgeting, coordinating and overseeing of the financial group reporting, as well as being responsible for the finalization of the monthly financial process.

If you have experience in management accounting? Short-term budgeting and group reporting, this may be the role for you.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Completed BCom Financial Management/Accounting degree (completed articles will be an advantage, for audit and risk control purposes)
• A minimum of eight (8) years’ working experience within the financial services industry
• A minimum of five (5) years’ financial experience within the short-term insurance industry
• Ski system experience (Genasys system) will be an advantage
• Must have demonstrable experience in management accounting
• Must have demonstrable experience in short-term budgeting
• Must have demonstrable experience in group reporting
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills (minimum English and Afrikaans)
• Systems Skills and knowledge (Excel, Genasys & Various Internal Systems)

Job Specifications:
• Ensure complete and accurate accounting
• Management of expenses within budget
• Approval of purchases and payments
• Ensure broker and insurer reporting is accurate and on time
• Ensure premium distribution is correct and on time
• Ensure claim payments are correct and on time
• Monthly management reporting
• Assisting finance team with queries
• Ensuring cash flow is maintained and funds are invested
• Ensure checklist and guideline is followed and complete
