Duties and responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping
a. Consolidated monthly reporting for the Group holding company
b. Monthly reporting for Cobol – operating lending entity
c. Review/oversight of book keeping of other entities
2. Treasury
a. Managing cash flow between companies / shareholders, and cash flow forecasting
b. Invoicing entities for head office services
c. Tax structuring
d. Foreign exchange control compliance
e. Currency management and hedging
3. Payments
a. Bill payments
b. Payroll management and execution
4. Analysis
a. Profitability calculations
b. Marginal cost analyses
5. Debt raising
a. Build relationships for with existing and potential creditors
b. Manage loan facilities
6. Selected operational involvement
a. Identify cost-saving opportunities in the group
b. Branch visits and selected involvement in lending businesses
c. Getting involved with expansion opportunities / due diligences
7. Audit portfolio companies
a. Oversight of Zambian internal audit team
b. Selected audit functions in SA and Tanzanian businesses

REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in accounting
• Experience as a financial manager of at least 8 years
• Solid auditing experience, managing an international team
• Able to work in Stellenbosch
