A tertiary qualification in Finance at an NQF 7 level

WORK EXPERIENCE
Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
3 years’ experience in a similar role - management in corporate company.

Experience with consolidation software and business tools.
Some experience in tendering processes specifically on SOE’s would be an advantage
Experience in report writing and presentations to Exco/Board level KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of SAP

Manage all finance staff responsible for the business unit accounting
? Manage all Operations staff involved in billing in order to ensure that billing processes, align to contracted terms, SOP’s and result in complete, accurate and compliant (VAT Act etc) billing, receipts are timeously and accurately processed and allocated.
? Ensure all finance staff understand the business and each contract’s commercial requirements to ensure the necessary and appropriate accounting transactions are understood and processed.
? Manage the accounts receivable process
? Manage query resolving relating to inter- company issues
? Manage the budget preparation of all cost centres reporting into the GM and of the “PCMS” administered practices business unit.
? Liaising and meeting with cost centre HOD’s to complete budget sign off
? Manage tax and VAT compliance as directed by Group tax including submission of required monthly VAT information

? Manage all cost centre queries
? Ensure financial pack submission of all cost centres
? Review monthly balance sheet reconciliation for all cost centres
? Authorise and release payment batches
? Complete variance analysis and reporting on relevant divisions: revenue analysis and cost variance analysis and reporting.
? Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place within all operational units and all financial risk mitigation measures (e.g. Internal Controls and Control Self Assessments) , are in place and effective.
? Manage and account for the Supplier Development spend budget allocated to the business units to ensure spend is aligned to authorised and approved supplier recipients. Accounting for and reporting on this spend is a key output.
