Finance Manager required for a renowned logistics company based in the Winelands. This is an EE position. An opportunity of this magnitude requires a strong, independent individual who will step into the role with a keen attitude and become a key member in the finance department. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who will begin at full speed and lead a team in a fast paced, highly pressured environment. The main responsibility of this role is to be the right hand man of the Finance Director. Qualification:

CIMA completed or qualified CA(SA ) - Non negotiable



Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 -4 years’ experience in an accounting role

Advanced MS Excel (Must be able to do Macros)

Knowledge of full accountant role

Detail orientated



Job Description:

Assist with preparation of profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

Review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.

Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.

Resolve accounting discrepancies.

Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases and computer software systems.

Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.

Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

Manage creditor department.
