Purpose of the Job:

The successful candidate will assist the CFO in all aspects of Accounting & Financial Management in a highly niched lending business owned by a JSE-listed company.

1. Required Qualifications

• B Com or B Com (Hons) Accounting – Essential
• Completion of Articles – Essential

2. Technical Competencies & Experience:

• At least 5 to 6 years of post-articles experience – essential
• Experience in credit or financial services – essential
• Financial Accounting - monthly, quarterly & annually
• Management Accounting
• Payroll
• Statutory & Regulatory payments, compliance & returns
• Budgeting and cash flow management
• Detail orientated & willing to “get hands dirty”
• Preparation & assistance with annual audit
• Risk assessment & mitigation
