Acanthin is a Sandton based BEE asset manager with a focus on long-short equity and long only equity portfolios. This asset management business drawing from over two decades of experience, offers hedge funds, long only equity mandates, balanced and bond portfolios across South African and offshore assets. Our investment philosophy is to seek out mispriced assets exploited from fundamental proprietary research with a view to establishing long term sustainable returns with low volatility and capital preservation as our starting points.

We require the services of a Financial Modeller with strong academic credentials either with or without any experience. Training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have at a minimum a BComm in Accounting with competence in excel modelling, be highly numerate and have at least two years’ work experience.
