Synopsis:
Leading financial services provider requires suitably skilled and qualified individual to provide financial planning and investment advice to existing and new clients

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• BCom (majors in Financial Planning, Financial Management or Investments)
• Certified Financial Planner licence holder
• Member of the Financial Planning Institute
• RE5 Regulatory exam
• Own reliable motor car and valid driver’s license
• Advanced practical experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum 2 year experience in a financial planning role

Job Description:
Suitably skilled and qualified individual to provide financial planning and investment advice to existing and new clients in the outlying areas of the Pretoria region. This includes:
• Servicing existing clients with single and multiple investments
• Face-to-face (meetings) annual reviews with clients
• Identifying client:
• Investment needs
• Risk tolerance and profile
• Other investments (and other assets)
• Personal circumstances
• Income requirements
• Investment time horizon, etc
• Making recommendations based on risk questionnaire and subsequent discussions
• Providing client with information on performance of various investment portfolios available
• Educating clients re basic investment principles, i.e:
o Risk versus reward
o Market sentiment
o Trends
o Performance (offshore / local)
o Benchmarks, etc

• Ensuring client investment portfolios are consistent with FPC investment philosophy and house-views
• Providing ongoing financial planning advice to clients as and when required
• Resolving client concerns, queries and /or complaints
• Sourcing new business via leads from existing clients
• Displaying sound technical / investment knowledge and understanding of:
o The Financial Services industry (corporate and individual clients)
o Investments, investment vehicles and retirement funds
o Tax implications of various investment options available to clients

o Voluntary products (savings vehicles)
o Endowments
o Unit Trusts / Multi Manager Funds
