a Well established Group is looking for a Senior Level candidate to employ in the capacity of Financial Reporting Manager.

The suitable person for this position will have the following:

1 Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
2 Registered with SAICA
3 10 Years Financial Management / Reporting experience in a related role at a Senior Management Level
4 Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Accounting and Reporting conventions and standards for South Africa and the USA
5 Competent in specialised accounting skills, mining and NYSE and JSE listing requirements and the SA Companies Act
6 MUST have experience in Group Financial Reporting and Annual Financial Statements

Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Manage the financial reporting and teams in the execution of key business reporting requirements
2. Manage the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports as required by Group and coordinate the internal and external review authorisations for these documents
3. Manage quarterly reports related to earnings release and other listing requirements reports
4. Develop financial reporting calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline adherence for the following processes: Financial Close, Earninigs Release, Business Reviews
5. Manage queries from key stakeholders regarding supplied financial information
6. Supervise team in internal reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
7. Support month end and year end closing and audit reports
8. Manage and interpret business reports supported by the financial team ensuring compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements
9. Contribute to the overall financial strategy in alignment to the business strategy
