Our client – a global leader in providing market intelligence, data and technology solutions, within the financial services sector, has a fantastic opportunity for an English speaking Financial Researcher. The Research team is a global, diverse and cohesive “family”, committed to the company, its clients and data quality.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral skills in English and may well be a graduate or currently studying. As a Research Analyst, you will gain in-depth exposure to investment and research strategies employed by global financial institutions.

This position is an excellent stepping stone to a career in many fields, including Portfolio Management, Stock Analysis, Market Research and Analytics Manager, and Account Management. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Responsibilities include :
• Interacting directly (by telephone) with investment professionals at global capital markets firms to gain a better understanding of their overall investment and/or research profile.
• Analyzing and interpreting market research, as well as tracking and accounting for market changes.
• Identifying, researching and sharing intelligence.
• Tracking and identifying portfolio manager leads for mutual funds, hedge funds, insurance reserves and pension assets.
• Entering and tracking objective investment information in a proprietary database according.
• Researching and responding to clients’ requests for information and reviewing relevant financial publications.
• Meeting monthly targets.
• Working on special assignments and projects.
