Position: Fitter

Location: East London

Remuneration: Based on experience

Responsibilities:
•Ability to work under minimal supervision and know the scope of his work
•Adjusting jigs and tools and grippers according to quality specifications
•Maintain jigs and tools in proper work condition
•Adjust production processes: Spot welding, screwing, clinching, gluing
•Improve robot trajectories
•Performing routine and planned machine maintenance on Time
•Identifying and responding to safety hazards
•Support breakdown maintenance operations
•Compiling and maintaining records of machine history
•Immediate diagnosis of the quality problems, and identify a solution to the problem
•Knowledge in quality management ISO TS (***)-***-****
•Assisting maintenance and production team with Asset Care
•Knowledge and Maintenance of Press Tooling is (Advantageous)

Requirements:
•NQF4 qualification & Trade test
•3-5 years plant maintenance experience
•Jig and tooling precision adjustments
•Fitter and turner or Toolmaker
•Robot teaching experience (KUKA)
•Ability to perform various types of welds i.e. arc, gas and manual
•Health & Safety knowledge
•Ability to read and understand technical drawings
•Effective time management skills
•Knowledge of production process: Spot Welding, Press tools, tool room and jigs
•Good communication skills
•Basic computer skills
