Introduction
We're seeking an experienced Fleet Planner (Fleet & Vehicle) - Contract Position - Cape Town. To improve vehicle and driver safety and keep your fleet on the road. You can identify risks and find ways to mitigate or avoid them through thorough inspections, proper maintenance, insurance, driver coaching, and other means. Doing so reduces chances of engine malfunction, accidents, and downtime.

MUST HAVE A NQF 7 QUALIFICATION

Duties & Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling of specific vehicle replacement activities to achieve operational targets.
Integration of operational planning and scheduling with suppliers and service providers.
Progress updates to relevant stakeholders on the achievement of planning targets based on actual performance.
Updating and adjusting of operational planning and schedules based on actuals
Identification and resolution of operational challenges to ensure the achievement of targets.

Desired Experience & Qualification
BSc, BEng, BTech or relevant NQF level 7 qualification.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fleet- or supply chain planning & scheduling.
Experience with the implementation and use of technology for operational planning.
Interfacing with operational planning of other relevant operational activities. Experience interfacing with operational teams and service providers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
A valid Code B driving license.
Own reliable transport
Availability to work overtime, on weekends, and on a shift or rotational basis if required.

Package & Remuneration
Salary: R649 per hour
Contract: Fixed Term Contract
