Floral Designer/New Product Developer/Buyer (Floral)
We are seeking a Floral Designer with the necessary qualification and skills to design and merchandise the variety of floral products available on the customers site in a consumer centric way. They are looking for a self-driven individual who is willing to go above and beyond in the world of on-line retail.

Salary: up to R30 000 per month, depending on experience

This role would be reporting to the merchandise manager. The Floral Product Developer is responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell on the site considering customer demand, pricing, quality and availability, market trends, company policy and financial budgets.

Requirements:
Matric essential
Any Floral qualifications beneficial
Minimum 2-3 years experience
Own transport mandatory
Organised and capable of managing multiple matters concurrently
Creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas
Attention to detail and efficiency
Collaborate well in a team while still being able to handle projects independently
Works well under pressure and meets deadlines

Duties:
We are looking for a skilled buyer that understands range building, planning and how to maximize profitability in a business. They will be working in the floral department, so they will need creative flair.
Design and manage product ranges and carry out regular range reviews
Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales, promotions and discount levels
Managing stock levels
Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
Liaise with suppliers and form partnerships to increase turnover to mutual advantage
Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
Liaising with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are completed
Participating in promotional activities
Writing reports and forecasting sales levels
Presenting new ranges to management
Getting feedback from customers
