the applicant should have in depth knowledge and proven management experience in the following:

 a) Working knowledge of Kitchen Operations

b) Knowledge of Menu creation and costing
c) Stock Control (Food and Beverage)
d) Management and Control of Operations Equipment
e) Supplier Relations
f) Cost of Sales Food and Beverage
g) Restaurant and Bar Management
h) Staff Training and Development
i) Banqueting and Functions
j) Guest Relations
k) Upkeep (housekeeping/maintenance) of Restaurant/Pool Side/Bars/Conference Venues
l) Legislative Compliance OHSA/LRA/BCEA
m) Labour Relations and HR
n) Computer literate (Opera/Micros/AccPac Stock Control) and competent administration skills
o) Food and Beverage Management Certificate/Diploma an added advantage
p) 3 to 5 years’ Experience in similar position

Salary R 20 000 - R 25 000 including single accommodation or live out allowance.
