Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a Foreman - Boilermaker.

• Control and coordination of allocated workshop boiler making activities
• Ensure adequate deployment of manpower manufacture and quality consistent with relevant procedures, specifications and client requirement
• Demonstrate knowledge of all relevant discipline specific equipment.
• Regarded as expert in relevant field.

• Keep abreast of new technologies
• Write technical reports
• Demonstrate applicable across-discipline knowledge
• Contribute to other’s decisions and actions across disciplines
• Participate in setting up QA/QC systems and procedures
• Demonstrate skills in engaging stakeholders from other disciplines, and is able to influence their decisions and actions for the benefit of the Company
• Evidence of strategic and technical input into overall strategy and direction
• Active participation in strategic conversations
• Coach and mentor learners and subordinates informally

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Grade 10, in the subjects Afrikaans or English, Mathematics or Science and Technical Drawing and at least two other subjects or a four subject national Technical certificate part 1 (NTC 1)
• Completed apprenticeship in Boilermaking
• Ideally completed ATRAMI trade test, or 6 years relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of Labour Law and OHS Regulations
• Min 5 years Boilermaking experience in a boiler
• Be able to read and understand technical drawings
• Must understand how to read Quality Inspection Plan (QIP)/Quality Control Plan (QCP)
