Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of this role is to be a member and/ or part of management of the Forensic Technology team.

Key job duties or responsibilities:
(1) Deliver data analysis services in respect of Audit and Internal Audit support, investigations and direct client engagements
(2) Data analysis – Create, normalise and populate databases and database tables. Structure queries and tests encompassing joins, selections and extractions in order to identify trends and anomalies
(3) Data visualisation – Demonstrate experience in visualisation techniques and technologies. Develop and maintain visual analytical models for use by clients and investigators
(4) Digital evidence recovery – acquisition, extraction and analysis of electronic data as per the investigative requirements and the management of these engagements
(5) Assist and/ or manage electronic discovery engagements
(6) Draft factual finding reports
(7) Project administration

Critical Technical Skills or competencies
(1) SQL Server (analysis and stored procedure writing skills)
(2) Experience in data mining, analytics, dashboards etc.
(3) Visualisation tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau, Spotfire, Cognos)
() EnCase, FTK, Niux, Clearwell or similar would be advantageous

Qualifications and experience
(1) IT related degree or diploma
(2) Previous experience in a Forensic IT department will be an advantage

(2) Drivers licence and own transport
