Freight Clearing Clerk needed to work in East Rand

Requirements:

•  Tariffing and framing of bill of entries
•  Handle client queries
•  Handle customs queries, stops and detentions
•  Ensure company and clients are not exposed to risk and no penalties are imposed
•   *  Air Waybills / Bill of Lading
•   *  Packing Lists
•   *  Commercial Invoices
•   *  Clearing Instructions
•  Prepare bill of entry on operating system
•  Submit approved entry to customs
•  Forward release notifications and operational file to channel controller
•  Stops
•  Provisional Payments, deposits and penalties
•  Voucher of Correction
•  Refund applications
•  Deferments
• KNOWLEDGE OF INCO TERMS
• Knowledge of Customs procedures and tariff commodities and headings
• Knowledge of relevant documents and permits required
• Knowledge of transport modes
• Knowledge of Marine Insurance
• Knowledge of/ Experience in Refunds
• Knowledge of / Experience in Tariffs
