FREIGHT FORWARDING AND CUSTOMS CLEARING ESTIMATOR – EDENVALE, JOHANNESBURG

Our client; an international freight forwarding, and logistics company based in South Africa is seeking the expertise of an Estimator to develop and maintain sales from their Edenvale offices.

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric or equivalent of Senior certification
Knowledge of all transport modes – Air, Ocean & Road
Sound knowledge of Incoterms 2010 as well as Customs Tariffs and Port Charges
Knowledge and experience in CargoWise
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding & Clearing

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality check estimate on a continuous basis.
Forward estimate to the relevant sales or client services representative to quality check and forward to the client.
Compile estimates according to client & agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports.
Request landside & freight charges from agents and service providers worldwide.
Ensure that the estimate charges correspond to client rates in CargoWise and Forwarding Instructions.
