FunctionTo provide a smooth check in and check out for all guests while at the same time taking care to ensure a comfortable stay.Experience & Qualifications• Must have previous 4 or 5* experience (in similar position, minimum 3 years)• Excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills• Customer / staff focused & Team orientationDuties & ResponsibilitiesTo attend briefings daily briefings & follow up on any pending itemsPlan operations and allocate duties for the shiftTo block off rooms for all guests’, ensuring that all room setups and amenities are prepared according to standardTo perform all check ins and check outs of hotel guests as per the standard policy (LQA, TLES & Richey Standards) and procedures of the hotelTo ensure that all department & guest reports, dockets and correspondence are completed accurately and punctuallyTo ensure all takings for the day is correct, balanced and banked according to hotel policy and procedureTo adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures as laid down and prescribed from time to timeTo carry out any other function and responsibility as is directed by the Front of House Manager and the DM and ensure the smooth running of the front desk.To be aware of all the promotions and functions within the hotelTo ensure that long staying and regular guests are met and that Management is aware of their well beingKindly submit confidential applications to Human Resources.
