Front Desk/Admin Duties

1.Know all treatments on the Cudo Kroo menu e.g. haircuts, facials, beard shaves and waxing using the correct styling tools, equipment (brushes, combs, scissors, styling tools, dryers etc.) and products.
2.Assist in the daily management and activities of the store in order to facilitate a professional environment.
3.Products knowledge of retail and professional stock and the usage thereof is essential.
4.Preparing reports and submitting sales taxes for retail items, managing cash deposits and credit card receipts, and setting financial goals each month or quarter.
5.Maintain Store Records - In addition to managing financial records, store managers oversee record retention and filing for other store-related records. This can include employee records such as employment and certifications; business records including invoices, and utility records; and customer information that is typically maintained within the entity’s database. Store managers periodically review these records to ensure that they are up to date.
6.Order Supplies - Hair salon managers ensure that their stylists have the supplies they need by placing orders with vendors for consumables such as shampoo, hair products, and disinfectant, as well as tools including scissors, trimmers, and hair dryers. For stores that offer retail products, hair salon managers maintain inventory levels and recommend new products based on customer requests and feedback and maintain purchase records to support inventory management and pricing.

Customer Relations
1.Develop a strong rapport with customers in efforts to address concerns with hair and beauty needs, which ultimately increase revenue from services and products.
2.Knowledge of processes for providing customers with holistic customer experience.
3.Always maintain a positive, friendly and empathetic relationship with all customers. Assist customers whenever possible and always meet, greet and smile.
4.Through effective marketing strategies and strong product knowledge, increase sales through new and existing clients.
5.Generate sales by introducing new and innovative ideas.
6.Take telephone calls from clients and provide them with relevant information.
7.Consultation with customers to prescribe correct products for hair, beauty and scalp conditions as needed.
8.Advise customers on their retail and treatment requirements on a professional capacity.
9.Actively upsell and cross sell treatments and retail products in line with set performance targets.
10.Attend educational trainings as needed and keep up to date with new products and trends to improve customer service.
11.Direct Promotional and Marketing Activities - To help build and maintain a robust client base, store managers also develop and distribute promotional materials and conduct marketing activities. This may include advertisements, seasonal promotions, and client referral programs. Assist the marketing team with distribution of periodic mailers to clients who have not visited in some time, promoting new products or services or offering discounts.
12.Respond to Client Issues - Store managers also resolve client-service related issues to ensure repeat visits and provide clients with a positive salon experience. This may include addressing customer complaints about haircuts or procedures or complaints regarding a specific employee. Store managers need to assess these situations and determine the best response, which can range from providing the customer a discount on future services to disciplining a stylist.
13.Attend to telephone calls from clients and provide them with needed information

Teamwork
1.Assist colleagues with clients to expedite service and ensure scheduled appointments are met timeously.
2.Assist fellow barbers, store manager and Directors as needed and work as a team.

Brand & Image
1.Maintain image of Cudo Kroo through professionalism of appearance and actions.
2.Wear the Cudo Kroo uniform correctly and with pride.
3.Read and understand the requirements, rules and protocols of Cudo Kroo and uphold the reputation of the brand at all times.
4.Abide by the rules, code of conduct and disciplinary guidelines of Cudo Kroo at all times.

General
1.Assist in additional general operational work, as required by the Directors (cleaning of communal areas, stock takes, etc.)
2.Have flexibility with shift times to accommodate attendance of training as required by Cudo Kroo.
3.Perform any other reasonable requests and tasks related to the maintenance of the business as requested by management from time to time.
