A large well-known Marketing company based in Cape Town is urgently seeking a skilled, Motivated and passionate Front End Developer to join the Dynamic, Fun but extremely Hard Working Developing Team.

Principle Responsibilities:
• Delivery of end to end projects on your own and in multi-person environments;
• Maintaining a high level of productivity and code quality;
• To work as part of a team without close supervision;
• Working with Project Lead to deliver successful projects;
• Required Skills and Experience:
• Comfortable experience developing dynamic pages more than look & feel layouts;
• Comfortable experience coding interactive JavaScript UIs, and integrating them with RESTful API's;
• 5+ years software development experience including native JavaScript, OO JavaScript, JavaScript libraries and frameworks (jQuery).
• Experience building Responsive Singe-Page web applications
• Expert knowledge of XHTML 1, cross-browser CSS;
• Experience of large-team development in integrated environments (e.g. Eclipse) using managed source control systems (e.g. Git).

Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Strong understanding of accessibility; the standards, patterns and approaches that enable web access for all users, irrespective of browsing technology;
• Familiarity with server-side integration;
• Experience in unit testing processes;
• Agile / Scrum;
• JIRA / Confluence;
• OO Programming Experience
• AJAX / / / WebSockets
• HTML 5, CSS3
• Less / SASS.
• Client-side templating, (Handlebars, underscore)
