We are looking for a vibrant and energetic front of house manager/ assistant event coordinator to join our team Responsibilities: ReservationsCheck-in and check-out of guestsInvoicing & PaymentsGuest liaison & Guest managingSwitchboardEnsuring guest satisfaction & handling complaintsOversee rooms division & staff responsibilitiesSupervision of dinner serviceGeneral AdminAid in marketing dutiesMonthly newsletter editing & circulationAid in function coordinating & function operations (conferences, events, weddings)Meeting with potential clients & venue viewingsSupervision & coordination of service staff during functionsOn-the-day operations control during functions & weddingsAssisting the General Manager in daily duties Requirements: Computer Literate – MS Excel, MS Word, Photoshop (not essential)Experience in Nightsbridge or similar booking operations system will be beneficialFluent in English & Afrikaans –written and verbalWell-presented and excellent communication skillsAccurate and customer orientatedPassion for service excellence & the hospitality industry essentialHospitality qualificationMust have 2-3 years experience in accommodation/function sector of the hospitality industryPrevious food preparation experience will be beneficialStrong administrative skillsGood organizational skillsCreative mindsetTeam PlayerMust be able to work under pressureOwn transport, valid driver licenseMust be willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends as required by the industryLive in position – possible shared accommodation If you meet the requirements above please: 1.
