Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a General Manager – Distribution Center.

Main Purpose of Job
Responsible for increasing customer satisfaction, sales, profitability and cash flow by providing leadership and management of the distribution centre’s team, inventory, controllable operating costs, distribution centre appearance and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications / Experience
• Matriculated, preferably with further qualifications in Business Management
• 3-5 years’ experience in the FMCG warehouse management, sales and distribution sector.
• Experience in the marketing and sales of poultry within the FMCG arena will be of beneficial value.

Technical Knowledge/Competencies
• Knowledge and experience gained from employment in the Poultry industry will be a distinct advantage
