Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma in Production Management or Operations Management and a Marketing Degree / Diploma would be advantageous
Experience
Min. 5 years experience in a managerial position
Marketing / Sales and customer liaision experience
Extensive knowlege of management and feed milling, milling and logistics
Knowledge of Animal Production industry and its players
Knowledge of Safety and Risk Management
Job Functions:
Overall responsibility for the operational affiars of the production site which will include Production, Planning (logistics, raw materials, order entry), health and safety, quality control, administrative and financial functions etc.
To lead and co--ordinate the branch departments and contractors to optimise branch performance
To grow the market share and maintain a stable, but growing customer base while still obtaining an above average return for all Stakeholders.
