Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven candidate to take up the role of a General Manager – Finance Specialist in Benoni, Gauteng.

Purpose
To establish, maintain and control the general financial function for the division in order to comply with the guidelines given by company and requirements by International Financial Reporting Standards

Key Performance Areas
• Provide and interpret financial information
• Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends
• Analyse change and advise accordingly
• Formulate strategic and long term business plans
• research and report on factors influencing business performance
• Analyse competitors and market trends
• Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Overall management of the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
• First point of contact with liaising with internal and external auditors
• develop external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue
• Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
• Prepare budgets and forecasts to specific deadlines
• Supervise, train and develop staff
• Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation and ensure that the company is compliant
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures in line with Africa Group Policies and Procedures

• CA with 5 years experience or BCom with 15 years experience in Management
