We are a book distribution and retail company seeking a general worker/backup driver.
This person must be able to do labour intensive lifting of boxes, be proactive and able to work without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the loading and offloading of items from company van
• Ensure correct stock and quantities are being loaded/off loaded as per delivery notes
• Physical labour
• Carry out all tasks relevant to purpose of jobs as allocated by Regional Manager
• Back up to driver - Driving company vehicle with stock
• Back up to driver - Delivering stock from one point to another
• Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards
• Assisting in set up of Sales
• General cleaning
• Unpacking of pallets

Minimum requirements:
• Code 10 driver’s license & PDP
• Grade 10
• 2 – 3 years’ experience
