Primary purpose: To assist the marketing, development and operational team to grow the business
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide development direction for the MSR, MPP and ESPRIT software development
Assist with the development of geotechnical operator training material
Present operator courses to geotechnical clients
Write and delivery of papers at geotechnical clients
Host and facilitate Company Mining user conferences
Provide consultancy services to geotechnical clients
Assist with the development of underground products

Job Qualification & Experience:
Qualifications

MSc degree in Engineering Geology or Higher Education
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a mining and consultancy environment with specific focus on engineering geology which should include:
Geological, structural and rock mass data collection
Geotechnical model and domain complication
Geotechnical input for mine planning
Geotechnical gap analysis
Pit slope design
Rock-related hazard identification
Pit slope monitoring, both long term and strategic/safety critical
Experience in the application of radar to monitor mine slopes
Experience in the publication of technical papers
