Job Description:

• Join a leading software development house specializing in financial and investment software as a Junior .Net Developer.
• Enhance the products with new Features
• Fixing of defects and assisting the Quality Assurance team with creating regression tests for the defects
• Develop C# frameworks for the Quality Assurance team to assist with testing products produced by Fofx
• Tool Development
• Develop in-house tools for use by the Development/Implementation teams
• Own, configure and improve the continuous integration process for products

Qualification:

• University degree a must have

Skills & Experience:

• Competency in C# .NET
• A solid software development background (academic: data structures, algorithms, patterns)
• Skilled at navigating/using Microsoft Windows and Office
• An understanding (academic) of Computer Architecture & Networking. (This is usually satisfied by a 3rd year Computer Science level or CompTIA A+/N+ equivalent certification)
• A university degree

The candidate will also have need to have:
• Excellent comprehension in areas of logic and mathematics
• A passion to learn and extend knowledge outside of the work sphere
• The ability to self-manage
• The ability to champion projects
The ability to communicate clearly, communicate with clients and be part of a team
Salary: R25 000.
