Job Description:

Implementation of new features.
Testing and debugging.
Maintaining and expanding deployment mechanisms.
Installation and configuration, as well as maintenance and support of software.
Regularly liaising with client to troubleshoot technical issues and to advise the customer.
Ensure compliance with and improve existing quality assurance processes
Installation and commissioning assistance of systems.
Design software solutions that meet the business requirements and are easy to maintain
Model technical solutions and document the technical designs.
Develop software systems according to specifications.
Unit test developed code and assist with system testing.
Provide third-line support for developed code by fixing defects and developing enhancements.

Qualifications:

- BEng (Electrical Electronic Engineering), Mechatronics or BSc Computer Science
- Or any other related degree from a reputable university

Preferred practical experience and skills acquired during studies:

Solid object orientated software knowledge and software development lifecycle understanding
C++ / C+ or C#
HTML, Java, JavaScript.
Relational databases and object databases.
Python or Postgres.
Git, JIRA, Jenkins.
SQL

Communication skills to engage with clients on a regular basis and troubleshooting technical issues.
Positive attitude, taking ownership of responsibilities
Be self-motivated to work individually, as well as work within a team.
Good at problem solving and troubleshooting , and reviewing these with the team.
Be deadline driven
