Large Multi-National company in the Media industry is looking for a Group Accountant to join their successful team.

They are looking to on-board a qualified CA (SA) with 1-3 years post articles experience. Recently qualified chartered accountants are also encouraged to apply. 

The role will report into thier Group CFO. This position will be based at our head offices in the Cape Town (CBD). 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the Group on financial accounting and emerging issues 
Coordination of group reporting information from subsidiary companies 
Preparing Group and subsidiary accounts under IFRS 
Preparation and management of accounting up to TB for all companies 
Balance sheet reconciliations for all group companies 
Preparation and analysis of accounts up to TB, cash flow and working capital analysis slides for board reporting 
Management of daily/weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting against budget 
Preparation of monthly Management Packs 
To ensure financial control through accurate maintenance and completion of the accounting records of the Company 

Requirements:
It's imperative that the person is a qualified CA (SA)
A creative mind with an ability to suggest and implement improvements 
Professional and well-developed communication skills 
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure 
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
