Our client in Paarl is looking for an Group Financial Accountant.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
? Minimum qualification – B.com Accounting with SAIPA.
? At least three to five years’ experience, articles to be completed.
? The candidate must be willing to travel, both in Namibia as well as from time to time, outside the borders of the country.
? Must be fluent in English (speaking as well as writing) – other languages will be an advantage.
? Must have excellent computer skills.
? QuickBooks financial system

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
? Case Ware
? Advanced Knowledge and experience in Excel

JOB DESCIPTION: GROUP FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
? Conduct appropriate regular ad hoc audits to ensure data integrity.
? Reconciliation of Accounts - Debtors, Stock, Creditors, Loan & Bank accounts, etc.
? Planning, support and preparation for the year-end audit process.
? Assist external auditors with query resolution.
? To assist with defined ad-hoc projects according to business needs (accounting related).
? Update group fixed asset register and depreciation calculations.
? Preparation of Provisional Tax, Income Tax, Company Tax and VAT for approval.
? Timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and related reconciliations.
? Prepare monthly journals for group.
