An experienced Group Accountant required to join an organization that is a leader in their industry. They are looking for an impressive finance specialist to support one of their divisions, ensuring that month end reporting is consolidated and updated with the necessary commentary on all areas within the Group Office.

BComm Honours (Accounting)

Job Description:

Co-ordinate and consolidate the Group IFRS accounts.

Effectively review all matters pertaining to the subsidiary financial statements in terms of IFRS.

Manage all correspondence and communication with regards to any technical queries that comes into the Group Reporting office.

Provide an effective and integrated support function to the Financial Managers throughout the reporting process.

Effectively co-ordinate and review information submitted to external publications (e.g. for JSE, integrated report and SENS announcements).

Understand and use the Group IFRS consolidation system in order to train users.

Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.

Deliver on Service Level Agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure that expectations are met.

Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.
