Job description
Responsibilities:
• Analyse profitability
• Report current monthly and YTD performance of brand profitability to EXCO
• Analyse factory performance against standard and individual production department analysis
• Manage overall stock
• Review stock reports and analyse stock variances
• Confirm correct valuation of inventory on hand factoring in an adequate provision for obsolescence
• Manage the annual budget process
• Manage projects
• Ensure that staff are trained, equipped and motivated through effective staff management processes
Requirements
• B.Comm in accounting
• Professional management accountant (CIMA), CA or SAIPA qualification is required (Non-Negotiable)
• Manufacturing Experience
• Previous cost accounting experience
• Knowledge of Syspro
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and people management skills.
• This applicant must be on a strategic level, willing to get their hands dirty.
• Full responsibility for the Group’s products’ (62SKU’s) profitability.
• This is a GROUP function, with occasional travel to our UK office, Wassen. (Finance function is centralised in Cape Town).
