A niche Global investment company with the Marketing Division based in Rondebosch, Cape Town is looking for a recent PR graduate with a flair for Analytics to join the team. 

Starting date:  1 July 2017

Job Purpose:  To assist the Group PR Coordinator and Group PR Manager with a larger project around the media database clean up and development of targeted media contact lists.

Primary Responsibilities: 
The intern will be working with a large volume of client contact information, conducting desktop and telephonic research, as well as data capturing. They will also be working with the Media Monitoring Agency to create targeted media lists for the brand and the industry as a whole.

Skills required:
Excellent Analytical and Reporting skills
Highly competent in Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel & Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding time management skills - must be able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Good international general knowledge
An interest in foreign investment, finance, economics, and migration
Problem-solving skills
Research and report writing skills – would be advantageous
Advanced editing/proofreading training - would be advantageous

Qualification:  A related PR / Marketing qualification

Prior experience: Some experience in a similar work environment would be ideal, however as this is an internship we understand this might be a first-time experience for the candidate
