A phenomenal opportunity and pinnacle appointment to join a leading retail / apparel manufacturing interest. A South African house-hold name. We require someone with experience and authority, to drive, lead and manage a large team of all sales staff and sales agents. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for 6 Sales Managers (responsible for approximately 20 agents); Key Account Managers and a Customer Service Leader (responsible for 10 people). We are looking for a super star who will take charge in a hands-on operational level. The successful incumbent will have a vision of injecting new energy and fresh ideas into the business. Limited travel overseas required and frequently into the Metropoles and occasionally to other cities in South Africa.


Qualification:

Commercial Degree

Diploma Courses in Selling, Leadership and Marketing


Skills & Experience:

Will have held and excelled in a similar function, albeit smaller business with at least 5 to 8 years’ experience in retail and wholesale manufacturing


Job Description:

There will be constant liaison with:

Range Building: Design and import team (through re-organization will attain greater involvement).

Marketing Team.

Close liaison with Production planning and plants.

Finance and Credit Control.

Own Retail Department.
