Primary Objectives Of Position:
Manage and co-ordinate Guest Relations Department to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service guests; hence maximize rooms venue and guest satisfaction. All work will be in line with hotels guidelines and business plan, the department business plan.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and coordinate guest relations to provide the highest standard of service
check all arrivals on daily basis and to ensure that all remarks, traces and special requests are entered into reservations.
Communicate with the Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or Service Manager with regards to room allocations for all VIP arrivals
Liaise with each department HOD with regards to any negative feedback obtained from guest comment cards, This feedback needs to be provided to the Executive Assistant Manager as well as in the daily Executive Morning Meetings.

KNOWLEDGE OF FRONT OFFICE TECHNOLOGY

Hotel reservation system (Opera)
Operate switchboard, teletext/telefax, key equipment, credit card machines and printers, hotel alarm systems, and other front office equipment.

HR MANAGEMENT:
Screens, interviews and select potential GR candidates
Identifies training needs and develops the departmental training plan
Train guest relation staff appropriately and proactively

STAFF TRAINING AND CONTROL
Train and supervise your staff in order to perform their duties in a proper manner
Establish work schedule and a good working team spirirt

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

All staff will get pension with Alexander Forbes. They contribute 6% percentage of their salary and the company will contribute a 6% (Total 12%).
We offer medical aid (Discovery) where the company subside 50% of the amount.
