We are now in search for a Guest Relations Consultant. This is the ideal position for someone who has 2-3 years experience within Front of House in a similar position and whom is looking at taking on a more senior role within bolstering their career for management structures.

Upon appointment these are some of the roles and responsibilities one has too take on.

Main Responsibilities

Provides cover in all areas of the Front Office Department as and when required;
Takes charge in the absence of the FOM'ers
Ensure targets are met.
Ensures that PM accounts are cleared promptly
To utilize supervisory skills and motivation to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction;
To supervise and participate in the prompt and courteous check-in, check-out and servicing of guests;
Handling and coordinating difficult situations effectively;
Is fully conversant with all Front Office departmental policies and procedures;
Helps prepare, implement and report on departmental goals and training plan;
Ensures the Hotel Credit Policy is adhered to by the Front Office Department;

Personal Requirements

Minimum of 3 years previous Front Office experience in a 5 star property;
Knowledge of MS Office, Fidelio or Opera etc. essential
Demonstrates advanced organizational and managerial skills;
Provides leadership and motivation to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction;
Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual;
Excellent communication skills are essential;
Focus on exceeding customer expectations;
Must have a valid driver’s license;
