Our client, a vibrant medium sized Engineering firm located in Stellenbosch is in need of the services of a Half Day Accountant to join their business.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Reconciliation of Suspense Accounts and Inter Company Loan Accounts
• Posting journal entries
• Cashbook processing and bank reconciliations
• Updating, maintaining and reconciliation of accounts payable
• Issue Inter Company Invoices
• Assist in reconciliations and preparing supporting documentation for audits
• Capture & Reconcile Petty Cash Account
• Assisting the financial manager with administrative duties as needed from time to time

REQUIREMENTS

• BCom degree
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles beneficial
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
• 1 - 2 years accounting / bookkeeping relevant experience
• Should be able to communicate well in English and Afrikaans
• Knowledge of Sage Evolution will be preferable
• Must demonstrate an eagerness and willingness to help and assist personnel in the company
• Must be an approachable team player who has strong interpersonal skills & flexibility is essential

Salary:
R12 000 – R15 000, depending on experience.
