RedCat Recruitment is seeking a HEAD CHEF (Live-in) for a private game reserve in the Limpopo Province.


JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Hospitality qualification an advantage.

Must be fully bilingual, read and write English and Afrikaans.

Previous experience in a similar position ESSENTIAL!

Computer literate (MS Office, Email / Internet), Micros POS.

Must be able to run the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Banqueting experience a MUST!

Responsible for high quality preparation, cooking and presentation of all food.

Good leadership skills, previous staff management an advantage.

Must be able to do purchasing, checking of goods received and packing of all relevant storage facilities.

Staff rosters and registers.

Day to day operation of Restaurant and running of various functions at the same time.

High hygiene standards.

Food costing, stock control and keeping wastage to a minimum.

Must be well-groomed and well-spoken individual.

Will be required to work long hours and weekends, holidays, etc.

This position would only suit a single person.

Valid drivers’ licence ESSENTIAL!


Salary offered: R12 000-00 per month (live-in) + provident fund + meals on duty + accommodation
