Head Chef Job TYGERBERG – Conference Centre

Head Chef Job TYGERBERG – Conference Center has become available for our client. They are currently looking for a Chef to lead the team of 4 staff members, consisting of 2 Chef, a cashier and housekeeper.
They specialize in Breakfast, Luncheons, Cocktails, platters and gala dinners when applicable.
Our client is located in Tygerberg within a Medical Research Center. As Head Chef you will be reporting directly to the Center Manager.

As ideal candidate you will have:
• Diploma/Certificate in culinary arts
• At least 2 years’ experience in similar environment
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have experience in budgeting, food costing, purchasing and stock control
• Computer knowledge would be a strong advantage

• Must be able to handle stress

Salary package:

• R15 780 per month
• Working hours from 08:00 – 16:00pm ~ Mon - Friday
• 21 days annual leave
• Medical Aid
• Pension fund
