Our Client, a 3*game lodge, requires highly motivated and dedicated individual with leadership qualities to fill this position.

Minimum Requirements

Head and shoulders photograph together with updated CV
Matric/Grade 12 Certificate /valid driver’s license
Hospitality Degree/Diploma
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervisory management and housekeeping with CONTACTABLE LANDLINE REFERENCES
Computer literate
Excellent knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety regulations)
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
Police Clearance Certificate

Key Responsibilities

Directs and monitors the condition and maintenance of all accommodation and public areas to the highest quality standard
Liaises with management and department heads to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the housekeeping department
Works within the agreed budgets on guest and cleaning supplies, salaries, linens, uniforms and miscellaneous costs
Responsible for the ordering/purchasing of all supplies related to the housekeeping department and stock control
Ensures guests “out of this world” experience by anticipating their needs and requirements
Responsible for resolving any complaints from the guests
Enforces control procedures carried through in Food and Beverage departments
Institutes staff training and deals with any IR disputes within the housekeeping department
Ensures that there is a high morale of the team by job pride, job satisfaction and compliments on a job well done by the team!
